Many of our San Francisco Bay Area business clients use Microsoft G-Suite so the following is a brief recap of a recent announcement Google made that might interest Google G-Suite users.
Google recently announced that it is adding the capability for users to integrate it’s Hangout Meet product with traditional conference technology like Polycom and Cisco. In another shocker, you will also be able to integrate Meet with Microsoft Skype for Business. What this means users will be able to join a meeting on Meet using there preferred equipment and Skype.
Google is also making it easier to for conference providers to build the capability for users to create, join or view a video conference directly from Google Calendar. The plugs-ins to allow this will be available in the Google Marketplace.
In the coming months, you will be able to use Google Chats with people who are outside of your Google domain. This means you would be able to communicate with your clients and other external partners via Chat.
